🟡 System characteristics
– High-performance core processor: Based on 8-core processing CPU with features of faster running speed and stronger processing capacity.
– Simple handheld key operation: Have 16-button operational mode and comfortable handheld terminal which are easy to learn and use, simple and quick to operate.
– Multiple transports, very large memory: Total off-line operation, multiple removable storage modes; 512MB internal memory, support high-volume removable storage devices.
– Intelligent pre-reading function: The Auto-Now system builds increased intelligence in pre-reading processing files. For new document, pre-read is needed only for the first time it is being processed, and the check could be skipped during the pre-read procedure if necessary to save time.
– Intelligent memory function: Backup data for power fail.
– Parameters stored and restored function: Support parameter backup and restoration. Parameters and files are stored respectively to effectively prevent missing important parameters.
– Two machining modes for choice: High-precision mode guarantees the quality and precision of workpiece; High-speed mode ensures the working efficiency and saves time.
– Pre-start safety check and alarm measures: Newly increase the safety warning and hints of system exceptions.
– Better encryption capability: Hardware encryption, parameter settings encryption, running time encryption and important internal processing files encryption keep the system from being modified, deleted or copied to guarantee customers’ technology information and property safety.
– Better performance on anti-interference: Performance on anti-interference has been examined by several CE tests and has improved greatly.
– Bigger exploitability: Auto-Now system basic edition supports 8-in and 8-out user-defined I/O terminal function, users could entirely either edit or define terminals as needed. Based on 8-core processing CPU, a secondary development is feasible. We could add special function and application to the system in terms of customers’ request to meet the demand of different industries. This system features short cycle, low cost as well as high security and so on.
🟡 Basic operations of A1X series
1. When the controller is powered on for the first time, press “cancel” to enter the main interface, and then press “menu”, here you can modify the parameter settings by choosing “machine setup”. The few main changes you could make are “pulse equivalent” and “table size” (please see simple instructions to get the calculation method of pulse equivalent; the value of table size you set should be less than or equal to the actual)
2. Back to the main interface, and check whether the positive and negative direction of each axis runs correctly. (if the directions run in reverse order, please regulate motor coil when you use stepper motor or parameter settings of servo driver when you use servo motor)
3. Affirm the value of pulse equivalent. If the positive and negative direction of each axis runs correctly, power again and return to zero. Home direction may be in reverse to demand, it could be modified by selecting “machine setup” and then “home setup” which including home speed, home order and home direction.
4. The state of eight input terminals is controlled by “input configuration”, and the last four terminals are normally-closed, you can open them if needed, otherwise please do not modify them.
5. You can modify working speed, speed scale as well as processing attribute and so on as needed in “auto processing setup”.
6. In “operate file”, files could be copied from U disk to the interior of controller by selecting “copy file” for processing or upgrading, and deleted from the interior of controller by selecting “delete file” to save more space for new file.
7. Process file :
(1) process U disk file : read and process files in U disk rectly.
(2) process internal file : read and process internal copied file more steadily and having better performance on anti-interference.
🟡 Computing method of pulse equivalent
Linear axis : The pulse number sent by control system when machine moves per millimeter, unit: pulse/mm.
Revolving axis : The pulse number sent by control system when machine revolves per degree, unit: pulse/degree.
🟡 Simple troubleshooting methods
1. System cannot be initiated
1) When the controller is powered on, “Rich Auto system is loading…” displayed on the screen overtime and system cannot be initiated. At this point, press and hold “ok” first and then power on at the same time, “Rich Auto system is loading…” will be shown on the screen, and release “ok” after 2 to 3 seconds, the controller enters the emergency recovery interface,
Emergency recovery state:
Upgrade system
View version and function
Format internal
Initialize parameters
Check “view version and function” to get corresponding upgrade package from manufacturer, and upgrade program to settle the problem.
2) When it shows “assertion error” on the screen, handle it in the same manner as the method shown above, and perform “format internal”, “initialize parameters” at last.
3) If the system loads to 100% and the screen is blank, perform emergency recovery method as condition 1).
2. Blank screen (no words were displayed)
1) The controller screen remaining blank when powered on means that the programs in it has missed and the emergency recovery operation doesn’t work, in this case, you could only send it back to manufacturer to recover programs by refreshing it.
2) If the system goes down when running to *%, please send it back to manufacturer to repair it.
3. Black screen(no light shown on screen)
1) When the controller screen is black and no words shown on it, please connect it to computer for power supply by square USB port. If the controller displays normally, there must be something wrong with external power supply connected to the machine. If not, please contact manufacturer and send the controller back to factory to repair.
2) It may be black on account of short circuit caused by 24V supply misconnection or other high voltage power supply leading to breakdowns in controller or interface board. Return it to factory repair.
4. Cannot read U disk or cannot process files in U disk
1) Check whether the controller USB flat port is broken first when U disk cannot be read, format U disk and change the format into FAT32 if the port is intact, refresh program, and then test reading U disk again. If the port is broken, do not repair or disassemble the product by yourself, please contact with manufacturer for service.
2) Press and hold any two buttons at the same time and then power on, the controller will enter “U disk mode”, in this mode, it will be shown in hardware form in computer and could be used as U disk to copy files with 512M storage capacity.
5. The value of each axis cannot be cleared
1) When the value of each axis cannot be cleared, please check your controller in the following way first. Go check whether the controller is in mechanical coordinate under manual mode. If the screen displays like this:
AX 0.000 manual
AY 0.000 F1
AZ 0.000 low speed
Then the system is in mechanical coordinate, please press “menu” and any numerical button from 1 to 9 simultaneously to change to working coordinate to clear values.
2) If it is not the case above, go check whether the 16 buttons are all available by “buttons check” in “system setup”, if not, please return it back to factory repair.
🟡 Precautions for use:
1. Never use the products in strong interference or high-intensity magnetic field. Working temperature: 0-700C, working humidity: 0-90 %(non-condensing).
2. Make sure you insert U disk in the right direction, do not hot plug the signal transmission cable connected between controller and machine tool.
3. Do not pull out U disk while processing U disk files in case of data transmission interruption.
4. Pay strict attention to not let conductive materials like metal and dust or corrosive liquid go into the inside of controller.
5. Do connect the machine tool shell to the ground to ensure safety and interference prevention.
6. Unauthorized disassembly is firmly forbidden, there is no component in the controller could be repaired by yourself.
7. When the controller is not used for a long time, please power it down and keep it properly.
8. Protect the controller from water, dust and fire while using it.
9. Do not use conductive chemical solvent to clean the controller.
10. The main spindle motor bearing life is in inverse proportion to there volving speed.
