Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block
Model Series: HGH/HGW
- Linear blocks are designed for use with linear rails.
- The HGH series features a square block profile, while the HGW series offers a wide (flanged) block type.
- These linear blocks are integral components for linear slide rails in various industrial applications, including CNC machinery, serving as load-bearing elements on the guide rails.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, they incorporate internal bearings for smooth motion.
- They facilitate convenient and rapid linear movement along the guide rail.
- The HGH model is a square-shaped linear block, and the HGW model is a wide, flanged rectangular block.
Features:
- High precision, smoothness, high wear resistance, and low noise.
- Utilizes advanced manufacturing technology for precise products with high hardness and durability.
- Offers high bearing capacity and low friction.
- Widely applicable in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive woodworking machinery, printing machinery, and more.

Linear Rail

Installation:

- Place the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently push the slider into the guide rail.
- The slider slides into the guide rail.
- Installation is complete without dislodging the steel balls.

During installation, keep the protective plastic rails within the slider to prevent the steel balls from dislodging. These balls may easily fall out during assembly if the rails are removed prematurely, rendering the block unusable. For disassembly, utilize the protective rails to retain the balls.
Installation Tips:
If not using the protective rails, the sharp edges of steel guide rails (e.g., No. 55 steel) can easily eject the balls from their grooves.

The HGW and HGH linear block types differ significantly based on their application characteristics:
Structure and Design
HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide)
- Wide Structure: Features a wider rail and block design, enhancing stability and load distribution.
- Load Capacity: Engineered for heavy-duty applications, offering superior load-bearing capabilities compared to SBR (Support Rail Guide) blocks.
HGH (High-precision Linear Guide)
- Standard Structure: Characterized by a square rail profile housing ball or roller bearings.
- High Precision: Delivers exceptional movement accuracy, making it suitable for applications demanding high precision.
Load Capacity and Stability
- HGW: Excels in high load capacity and stability due to its wider profile, reducing vibration and deflection. Ideal for demanding industrial environments.
- HGH: Offers good load capacity, but is optimized for high precision movement over extreme load handling. Suitable for applications where accuracy is paramount.
Applications
- HGW: Recommended for applications requiring substantial load support and high stability, such as heavy industrial machinery, large CNC machines, and high-durability equipment.
- HGH: Best suited for high-precision movements and smooth operation, including CNC machines, 3D printers, and precision manufacturing equipment.
Summary
- HGW: Optimal for heavy load and high stability requirements.
- HGH: Optimal for high precision and smooth motion requirements.
The selection between HGW and HGH depends on specific application needs. For superior stability and load capacity, HGW is the preferred choice. For applications prioritizing precision, HGH is the more appropriate option.
