Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block
Model Series: HGH/HGW
- Must be used in conjunction with a linear rail.
- HGH represents a square block linear rail, while HGW denotes a wide (flanged) block type.
- Linear blocks are utilized with linear rails in various industrial applications, including CNC machinery, to support loads along the rail.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, these blocks contain internal ball bearings for smooth movement.
- They facilitate efficient and rapid linear motion along the guide rail.
- The HGH series features a square profile, whereas the HGW series offers a wider, flanged profile.
Features: Linear Block (HGH and HGW Series)
- High precision, smoothness, superior wear resistance, and low noise operation.
- Manufactured using advanced technology for precise components with high hardness and durability.
- Offers high load-bearing capacity and minimal friction.
- Widely applicable in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive and woodworking machinery, printing machinery, and more.

Installation: Correct Installation Procedure for Linear Blocks

- Align the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently insert the slider onto the guide rail.
- Slide the slider fully onto the guide rail.
- Installation is complete. Avoid removing the protective features that retain the steel balls.

During installation, do not remove the plastic dummy rails from the slider beforehand, as this can cause the balls within the slider to dislodge, preventing proper installation and function. When disassembling, the dummy rail should be used to retain the balls.
Installation Tips: Using guide rails made of No. 55 steel without dummy rails can lead to the balls being ejected from the ball groove due to the sharp edges of the rail.

Distinction between HGH and HGW Linear Blocks:
Structural Design:
- HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide): Features a wider rail and block design, enhancing stability and load distribution. Designed for heavy-duty applications, offering superior load capacity compared to SBR (Support Rail Guide) blocks.
- HGH (High-precision Linear Guide): Standard rectangular profile incorporating ball or roller elements. Optimized for high precision movement, suitable for applications demanding accuracy.
Load Capacity and Stability:
- HGW: Provides higher load capacity, ideal for demanding tasks requiring robust support and weight distribution. The wider rail contributes to enhanced motion stability and reduced vibration or deflection.
- HGH: Offers good load capacity, though typically less than HGW, prioritizing precision in motion for applications where accuracy is paramount over extreme load requirements.
Application Areas:
- HGW: Recommended for high-load and high-stability applications, such as heavy industrial machinery, large CNC machines, and equipment requiring exceptional durability.
- HGH: Suited for applications demanding high precision and smooth movement, including CNC machines, 3D printers, and precision manufacturing equipment.
Summary:
- HGW: Best suited for applications requiring high load capacity and superior stability.
- HGH: Ideal for applications prioritizing high precision and smooth linear motion.
The selection between HGW and HGH depends on specific application requirements. HGW is preferred for stability and heavy loads, while HGH is the optimal choice for precision-focused tasks.
