Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block – HGH/HGW Series
- Must be used with a linear rail.
- HGH represents a square profile linear block, while HGW signifies a wide (flanged) block type.
- Slide blocks are utilized with linear rails in various industrial applications, including CNC machinery, to bear loads along the rail.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, these blocks incorporate internal bearings for smooth movement.
- They enable swift and effortless linear motion along the guide rail.
- The HGH series features a square-shaped block, and the HGW series offers a wide, flanged rectangular profile.
Features:
- High precision, smooth operation, excellent wear resistance, and low noise levels.
- Manufactured using advanced technology for precise, high-hardness, and durable products.
- Offers high bearing capacity with minimal friction.
- Widely applicable in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive, woodworking machinery, and printing machinery.
Specifications:
Linear Block: HGH

Linear Block: HGW

Installation:

- Align the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently slide the block onto the guide rail.
- Continue sliding until fully engaged.
- Installation is complete. Do not remove retaining elements that prevent ball loss.

During installation, keep the plastic retainer rails within the slider in place. Removing them prematurely can lead to the loss of internal balls, preventing proper installation and function. When disassembling, use the retainer rails to facilitate removal and prevent ball spillage.
Installation Tips:
If not using the provided retainer rails, care must be taken as the sharp edges of guide rails made from No. 55 steel can dislodge the balls from their grooves.
Original Version Details:
Steel casing ensures secure ball retention.

The HGW and HGH linear block series differ significantly based on their intended applications and characteristics:
Structure and Design:
- HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide):
- Wider Profile: Engineered with a broader rail and block for enhanced stability and superior load distribution.
- High Load Capacity: Designed to accommodate heavy loads, offering greater weight-bearing capabilities than SBR (Support Rail Guide) blocks.
- HGH (High-precision Linear Guide):
- Standard Profile: Features a rectangular rail with internal ball or roller bearings.
- High Precision: Delivers exceptional accuracy in movement, making it suitable for applications demanding high precision.
Load Capacity and Stability:
- HGW: Exhibits superior load-bearing capabilities compared to HGH, ideal for high-stress applications requiring significant weight support and excellent stability. The wider rail minimizes vibration and deflection.
- HGH: Offers good load capacity, though not as high as HGW, prioritizing movement precision. It is best suited for applications requiring high accuracy without extreme load requirements.
Applications:
- HGW: Recommended for applications demanding high load capacity and stability, such as heavy industrial machinery, large CNC machines, and other high-durability equipment.
- HGH: Suitable for precision-oriented applications with smooth movement requirements, including CNC machines, 3D printers, and manufacturing equipment where accuracy is paramount.
Summary:
- HGW: Optimal for applications requiring heavy load support and high stability.
- HGH: Preferred for applications demanding high precision and smooth linear motion.
The selection between HGW and HGH depends on specific project requirements. If stability and heavy load capacity are critical, HGW is the preferred choice. For applications where precision is the primary concern, HGH is the more appropriate option.
