Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block
Model Series: HGH/HGW

- Intended for use with linear rails.
- HGH models are square block linear rails.
- HGW models are wide (with wing) block types.
- Slide blocks are used with linear rails in various industrial applications, including CNC machinery. They serve as load-bearing components on the linear rail.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, with internal ball bearings for locomotion.
- Allow for smooth and rapid linear movement along the rail.
- The HGH model features a square profile, while the HGW model has a wider, flanged profile.
Features:
- High precision, smoothness, wear resistance, and low noise operation.
- Utilizes advanced manufacturing technology for precise, high-hardness, and durable products.
- Offers high bearing capacity and low friction.
- Widely applied in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive woodworking machinery, printing machinery, and more.

Specifications:
Linear Block: HGH

Linear Block: HGH45HA

*Product color may vary.
Installation:

- Place the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently push the slider onto the guide rail.
- Slide the block onto the guide rail.
- Installation is complete; ensure steel balls remain contained.

During installation, do not remove the plastic retaining rails from the slider beforehand, as this can cause the internal steel balls to dislodge, preventing proper installation and function. When disassembling, use the retaining rails to guide the removal and prevent ball loss.
Installation Tips:
If not used with the provided retaining rails, the sharp edges of steel guide rails (e.g., No. 55 steel) can eject balls from the ball grooves.

Comparison: HGW vs. HGH Linear Blocks
Linear blocks of the HGW and HGH types exhibit several differences based on their intended applications and characteristics:
HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide)
- Wider Structure: Designed with a broader rail and block profile, enhancing stability and load distribution.
- Load Capacity: Engineered for heavy-duty applications, offering superior load-bearing capabilities compared to SBR (Support Rail Guide) blocks.
HGH (High-precision Linear Guide)
- Standard Structure: Features a rectangular rail profile containing ball or roller bearings.
- High Precision: Provides exceptional accuracy in motion, suitable for applications demanding high fidelity.
Load Capacity and Stability
- HGW: Superior load capacity and stability due to its wider design, ideal for heavy loads and applications requiring minimized vibration and deflection.
- HGH: Offers good load capacity, but its primary advantage lies in its precision for movement, making it suitable for less demanding load conditions where accuracy is paramount.
Applications
- HGW: Recommended for heavy-duty industrial applications such as heavy machinery, large CNC machines, and equipment requiring high durability and stability.
- HGH: Best suited for applications demanding high precision and smooth motion, including CNC machines, 3D printers, and precision manufacturing equipment.
Summary:
- HGW: Optimal for applications requiring high load capacity and stability.
- HGH: Optimal for applications demanding high precision and smooth movement.
The selection between HGW and HGH depends on specific application requirements. For superior stability and load handling, HGW is the preferred choice. For applications where precision is the critical factor, HGH is more appropriate.
