1. Easy Lubrication
With a traditional sliding system, insufficient lubrication causes wear on the contact surfaces. Also, it can be quite difficult to supply sufficient lubrication to the contact surfaces because finding an appropriate lubrication point is not very easy. With a linear motion guideway, grease can be easily supplied through the grease nipple on the linear guideway block. It is also possible to utilize a centralized oil lubrication system by piping the lubrication oil to the piping joint.

2. Easy Installation
Installing a linear guideway is fairly easy. Grinding or milling the machine surface, following the recommended installation procedure, and tightening the bolts to their specified torque can achieve highly accurate linear motion.

- Place the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently push the slider into the guide rail.
- The slider slides into the guide rail.
- The installation is complete without dropping the steel balls.

When installing, do not remove the plastic retainers from the slider in advance; otherwise, the steel balls in the slider may fall out during assembly, preventing normal installation and use. During disassembly, use the retainers to prevent the balls from falling out.
3. High-Speed Motion with Low Driving Force
Because linear guideways have minimal friction resistance, only a small driving force is required to move a load. This results in increased power efficiency, particularly for reciprocating components within a system.

4. Long Life with High Motion Accuracy
With a traditional slide, accuracy errors can arise from oil film counterflow. Insufficient lubrication leads to wear on contact surfaces, progressively reducing accuracy. In contrast, rolling contact exhibits minimal wear, enabling machines to achieve extended operational life with high motion precision.

5. High Positional Accuracy
When a load is driven by a linear motion guideway, the frictional contact between the load and the machine bed is rolling contact. The coefficient of friction is significantly lower than traditional contact (approximately 1/50), and the difference between dynamic and static coefficients of friction is minimal. This ensures no slippage occurs while the load is in motion.

6. Equal Loading Capacity in All Directions
This specialized design allows these linear guideways to accept loads in both vertical and horizontal directions. Conventional linear slides typically have limited load capacity in directions parallel to their contact surfaces and are more prone to accuracy degradation under load.
