1. Easy Lubrication
With a traditional sliding system, insufficient lubrication causes wear on the contact surfaces. Also, it can be quite difficult to supply sufficient lubrication to the contact surfaces because finding an appropriate lubrication point is not very easy. With a linear motion guideway, grease can be easily supplied through the grease nipple on the linear guideway block. It is also possible to utilize a centralized oil lubrication system by piping the lubrication oil to the piping joint.
2. Easy Installation
Installing a linear guideway is fairly easy. Grinding or milling the machine surface, following the recommended installation procedure, and tightening the bolts to their specified torque can achieve highly accurate linear motion.

- Place the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently push the slider into the guide rail.
- The slider slides into the guide rail.
- Installation is complete without the steel ball falling out.

When installing, do not remove the temporary guide rails within the slider beforehand, as this may cause the steel balls to fall out during assembly, preventing normal installation and use. During disassembly, ensure the temporary rail assists in the process to prevent bead loss.
3. High-Speed Motion with Low Driving Force
Because linear guideways have minimal friction resistance, only a small driving force is required to move a load. This leads to increased power efficiency, particularly in the moving components of a system, especially for reciprocating parts.

4. Long Service Life with High Motion Accuracy
With a traditional slide, accuracy errors arise from oil film reversal. Insufficient lubrication leads to wear between contact surfaces, progressively reducing accuracy. In contrast, rolling contact exhibits minimal wear, enabling machines to achieve extended service life with highly accurate motion.

5. High Positional Accuracy
When a load is driven by a linear motion guideway, the frictional contact between the load and the base is rolling contact. The coefficient of friction is only 1/50 of traditional contact, and the difference between the dynamic and static coefficients of friction is minimal. Consequently, slippage is prevented during load movement.

6. Equal Load Capacity in All Directions
Designed specifically, these linear guideways can withstand loads in both vertical and horizontal directions. Conventional linear slides can only manage minimal loads parallel to the contact surface and are more prone to accuracy degradation under load.
