Fiber Laser CNC FB16 is an intelligent fiber laser cutting machine capable of cutting all types of metals such as steel, aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel, silver, titanium, and many more. It comes with a modern and intelligent controller that can calculate the shortest cutting path to achieve the fastest processing time, helping reduce machine time and extend machine service life. The machine is also equipped with sensors and provides fast torque response with the latest 4 Japanese servo motors, driven at 3000 rpm, and can travel up to 50 m/min. The CNC fiber laser can operate for up to 100,000 hours.
The machine color and model can be customized. We offer laser power options from 500W to 2000W according to customer requirements.
In addition, there are options for automatic material changing and automatic material feeding.

Controller Placement for CNC Fiber Laser Model 1530-1500W


- The controller is installed at the front of the machine and covered by a protective enclosure (white cover as shown above). It is attached to the laser machine, which greatly saves installation space.
- Some fiber laser models use an external control cabinet with the controller installed separately, which requires more space—especially for customers with limited space.
- The controller can operate safely in high-temperature environments.
- Built-in cooling system is provided, even though the controller itself is designed for high-temperature operation.
- The controller includes anti-interference protection, especially important in industrial environments with heavy machinery.
- The controller enclosure is fully sealed and lockable to prevent animals (e.g., rats) from entering.
- Grounding is installed with an external ground connection.

- Fiber laser consumes far less electricity than plasma. Plasma efficiency may be only about 20%. For example, a 1000W laser at 380V uses only about 1000W / 380V = 2.6A, compared to 60A at 380V for a plasma source. Many plasma sources consume around 100A. Compared to 1000W (2.6A), you will be surprised how much electricity you can save. For example, if you pay USD 1,000 per month for electricity using plasma, you may pay approximately 1,000 / 38 = USD 26 per month with fiber laser. It is extremely cost-saving.
- Plasma cutting for sheet metal may consume many tips, while fiber laser typically requires far fewer consumables for the cutting head. Plasma uses high voltage and high air volume, causing the plasma electrode to wear quickly. You must replace consumables frequently, which increases setup time and machine downtime. Downtime is a cost of both the machine and labor.
- Laser cutting speed is very high. Cutting time for fiber laser and plasma may be similar in some cases, but fiber laser can run much faster—up to 10 times faster—because the machine structure has a low center of gravity and the column is close to the table, allowing stable high-speed motion. In contrast, plasma machines often have a higher torch structure, making the machine less stable at high speed and more prone to vibration.
- Fiber laser has better cutting head sensors than plasma because it produces less radiation. Some plasma machines may affect visibility or nearby equipment due to high plasma radiation. CNC fiber laser, in contrast, has lower radiation and higher stability.
