Bellow Covers are employed to protect Ballscrews and Linear Guideways from dust and impact, while also reducing drag force during motion. This extends the service life of machinery and mitigates downtime.

1. Bellow End Frame

Figure 1: An L-shaped rigid plastic/polymer frame designed for securing the ends of the Bellow, facilitating easy mounting to the machine or other structures.

Features grooves/notches for locking or assembly with the Bellow pleats and other fastening components.
2. Folded Bellow Cover

Figures 2-3: The main body of the Bellow, characterized by its accordion-style folds, allowing for telescopic extension and retraction along the linear axis movement.

Constructed from water-resistant, oil-resistant, and abrasion-resistant materials such as PVC Fabric, Polyurethane Coated Nylon, or other composite materials.

Used to enclose or cover Ballscrews or Linear Guideways for:

Protection against dust, metal chips, oil, etc.

Protection against external impacts.

Assisting in reducing drag force generated by axis movement.

Application Procedure

The ends of the Bellow are secured to the End Frames on both sides.

The assembly is then mounted to the structure of CNC machines or automation systems.

The folded pleats allow the Bellow to extend with the machine’s moving axis and retract without self-overlapping or obstructing operation.
