Bellow Covers are utilized to protect Ballscrews and Linear Guideways from dust, impact, and to reduce drag force during movement. This extends the operational life of machinery and minimizes downtime.

1. End Frame for Bellow Attachment

Figure 1: An L-shaped frame constructed from rigid plastic/polymer, designed for securely attaching the ends of the Bellow to the machine frame or other structures.

Features grooves/notches for locking and assembly with the Bellow folds and other fastening components.
2. Folded Bellow Cover

Figures 2-3: The primary component of the Bellow, featuring an accordion-style fold to accommodate the linear axis movement (extension and retraction) without interference.

Constructed from materials resistant to water, oil, and abrasion, such as PVC Fabric, Polyurethane Coated Nylon, or other composite materials.

Used to enclose Ballscrews or Linear Guideways for:

Protection against dust, metal chips, oil, etc.

Shielding from external impacts.

Reduction of drag force during axis movement.

Application Method

The ends of the Bellow are secured to the End Frames on both sides.

The assembly is then mounted onto the frame of a CNC machine or an automation system.

The folding design allows the Bellow to extend with the machine’s linear axis and retract without self-interfering or obstructing operation.
