Description
Linear Rail Model HGR – Slide Rail, Guide Rail
HGR40 – 4 Meter

- Linear slide rails are machine tool components with a long rail configuration.
- They feature a square block that supports weight, such as HGH, HGW, or SBR series.
- Linear rails are available in various sizes and lengths to suit different applications.
- They offer high strength, durability, and ease of installation.
- Linear rails can be applied in a wide range of uses, including photocopiers, CNC machines, the automotive industry, and the textile industry.

Features: Linear Rail (HG Series)
1. Easy Lubrication
With a traditional sliding system, insufficient lubrication causes wear on the contact surfaces. Also, it can be quite difficult to supply sufficient lubrication to the contact surfaces because finding an appropriate lubrication point is not very easy. With a linear motion guideway, grease can be easily supplied through the grease nipple on the linear guideway block. It is also possible to utilize a centralized oil lubrication system by piping the lubrication oil to the piping joint.
2. Easy Installation
Installing a linear guideway is fairly easy. Grinding or milling the machine surface, following the recommended installation procedure, and tightening the bolts to their specified torque can achieve highly accurate linear motion.

- Place the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently push the slider into the guide rail.
- The slider slides into the guide rail.
- Installation is complete without dropping the steel ball.

When installing, do not remove the plastic guides within the slider prematurely; otherwise, the steel balls will easily dislodge during assembly, preventing proper installation and use. During disassembly, use the guides to assist in removal and prevent ball loss.
3. High-Speed Motion with Low Driving Force
Because linear guideways offer minimal friction resistance, only a small driving force is required to move a load. This leads to increased power efficiency, particularly in reciprocating components of a system.

4. Long Service Life with High Motion Accuracy
Conventional slides experience accuracy degradation due to oil film counter-flow and insufficient lubrication, leading to wear on contact surfaces. In contrast, rolling contact exhibits minimal wear, enabling machines to maintain high accuracy and achieve a prolonged service life.

5. High Positional Accuracy
When a load is driven by a linear motion guideway, the friction contact between the load and the base is rolling contact. The coefficient of friction is significantly reduced (approximately 1/50th of traditional contact), and the difference between dynamic and static coefficients of friction is minimal. This ensures precise positioning without slippage during load movement.
6. Equal Load Capacity in All Directions
This specialized design allows linear guideways to accept loads from both vertical and horizontal directions. Conventional linear slides have limited load capacity parallel to the contact surface and are prone to reduced accuracy under load.
