Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block
Model Series: HGH/HGW
- Designed for use with linear guide rails.
- HGH denotes a square block linear rail, while HGW features a wider block type (with wing).
- Linear sliding blocks are utilized with linear guide rails in various industrial applications, including CNC machinery. They serve as load-bearing components on the guide rail.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, these blocks incorporate internal ball bearings for locomotion.
- They facilitate smooth, efficient, and rapid linear movement along the guide rail.
- The HGH series features a square-shaped linear sliding block, whereas the HGW series offers a wider, flanged block design.
Features: Linear Block (HGH and HGW Series)
- High precision, smoothness, superior wear resistance, and low noise operation.
- Utilizes advanced manufacturing technology for precise products with high hardness and durability.
- Offers high bearing capacity and minimal friction.
- Widely employed in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive, woodworking machinery, printing machinery, and more.

Installation: Correct Procedure for Linear Sliding Blocks

- Align the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently insert the slider into the guide rail.
- Slide the slider completely onto the guide rail.
- Installation is complete; ensure no steel balls are dislodged.

During installation, do not remove the pre-installed plastic dummy rails within the slider. Doing so may cause the internal steel balls to dislodge, rendering the block unusable. When disassembling, the dummy rails must be engaged to prevent ball loss.
Installation tips:
If not using dummy rails, the sharp edges of guide rails made from No. 55 steel can potentially eject balls from the ball groove.

HGW vs. HGH Linear Blocks: Functional Distinctions
The HGW and HGH series linear blocks differ in design, application, and performance characteristics:
HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide)
- Wider Profile: Features a broader design for enhanced stability and superior weight distribution.
- High Load Capacity: Engineered to support heavier loads compared to standard SBR (Support Rail Guide) blocks.
HGH (High-precision Linear Guide)
- Standard Profile: Typically a square rail with internal ball or roller bearings.
- High Precision: Delivers exceptional accuracy in movement, suitable for precision-critical applications.
Load Capacity and Stability
- HGW: Superior load-bearing capabilities and stability due to its wider construction, ideal for heavy-duty applications and reducing vibration and deflection.
- HGH: Offers good load capacity but prioritizes movement precision over maximum load; suitable for applications demanding accuracy without extreme loads.
Application Scenarios
- HGW: Recommended for heavy-duty industrial machinery, large CNC machines, and other equipment requiring high stability and robustness.
- HGH: Best suited for precision-oriented applications such as CNC machines, 3D printers, and manufacturing equipment where accuracy and smooth motion are paramount.
Summary:
- HGW: Optimal for heavy load and high stability requirements.
- HGH: Optimal for high precision and smooth motion requirements.
The selection between HGW and HGH depends on specific application needs. For enhanced stability and load capacity, HGW is the preferred choice. For applications prioritizing precision, HGH is more appropriate.
