Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block
MODEL SERIES: HGH/HGW
- Designed for use with linear rails.
- HGH denotes a square block linear rail, while HGW signifies a wide (flanged) block type.
- Linear sliding blocks are utilized with linear rails in various industrial applications, including CNC machinery, serving as load-bearing components on the linear guideway.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, these blocks incorporate internal bearings for smooth motion.
- They enable convenient and rapid reciprocating movement along the guideway.
- The HGH series features a square profile block, while the HGW series offers a wider, flanged rectangular block.
Features of Linear Blocks (HGH and HGW Series)
- High precision, smooth operation, excellent wear resistance, and low noise levels.
- Advanced manufacturing technology ensures precise products with high hardness and durability.
- High load-bearing capacity and low friction.
- Widely applicable in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive woodworking machinery, printing machinery, and more.

Proper Installation Procedure for Linear Sliding Blocks

- Position the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently slide the block onto the guide rail.
- Continue sliding the block along the guide rail until fully seated.
- Installation is complete. Do not remove the retaining ball guide during this process.

Important: Do not remove the protective plastic rail from the slider prior to installation. Doing so can cause the internal balls to dislodge, preventing proper installation and function. When disassembling, ensure the protective rail is used to retain the balls and prevent their loss.
Installation Tips:
Using guide rails not equipped with protective rails may result in the balls being ejected from the ball groove, especially on guide rails made of No. 55 steel.

The HGW and HGH series linear sliding blocks differ in several aspects based on their design and intended applications:
Structure and Design
HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide)
- Wide Structure: Features a wider rail and block design, enhancing stability and improving load distribution.
- Load Capacity: Engineered for heavy-duty applications, offering superior load support compared to SBR (Support Rail Guide) blocks.
HGH (High-precision Linear Guide)
- Standard Structure: Characterized by a square rail profile containing ball or roller bearings.
- High Precision: Delivers high-accuracy linear motion, suitable for applications demanding precise positioning.
Load Capacity and Stability
- HGW: Offers higher load capacity than HGH, making it ideal for applications requiring significant load support and optimized weight distribution. The increased rail width contributes to greater stability and reduced vibration or deflection during movement.
- HGH: Provides good load capacity but is not equivalent to the HGW series. It prioritizes precision and smooth motion over extreme load handling, suitable for applications requiring high accuracy where heavy loads are not the primary concern.
Applications
- HGW: Applied in industries requiring substantial load capacity and high stability, such as heavy industrial machinery, large-format CNC machines, and durable equipment.
- HGH: Used in applications where high precision and smooth movement are critical, including CNC machines, 3D printers, and manufacturing equipment demanding tight tolerances.
Summary
- HGW: Recommended for applications demanding high load capacity and superior stability.
- HGH: Recommended for applications prioritizing high precision and smooth linear motion.
The selection between HGW and HGH depends on the specific requirements of the application. For enhanced stability and heavy load support, the HGW series is the preferred choice. For applications where precision is paramount, the HGH series is more suitable.
