The Bellow Cover is designed to protect Ballscrews and Linear Guideways from dust, impact, and to reduce drag force during motion. This extends the service life of machinery and minimizes downtime.

1. Bellow End Frame

Figure 1: L-shaped rigid plastic/polymer frame for easy mounting of the Bellow ends to the machine or other structures.

Features slots/notches for locking or assembling with the Bellow pleats and other fastening components.
2. Accordion-Style Bellow Cover

Figures 2-3: The main component of the Bellow, featuring an accordion-style fold that allows for expansion and contraction along the linear axis’s movement.

Constructed from materials resistant to water, oil, and abrasion, such as PVC Fabric, Polyurethane Coated Nylon, or other composite materials.

Used to cover Ballscrews or Linear Guideways to:

Prevent contamination from dust, metal chips, oil, etc.

Provide protection against external impacts.

Help reduce drag force from axis movement.

Application Method

The ends of the Bellow are secured to the End Frames on both sides.

The assembly is then mounted to the frame of the CNC machine or automation system.

The accordion folds allow the Bellow to extend with the machine’s linear axis and retract without self-overlapping or obstructing operation.
