Description
MPG Handheld Pulse Generator for Mitsubishi

Integrated Wiring Diagram for MPG Handheld Mitsubishi 12 VDC
Important: Ensure proper connection by cutting bare copper for individual connections. Avoid short circuits.

✅ Pulse Generator:
- Red – VCC (Pulse positive voltage)
- Black – OV (Pulse negative voltage)
- Green – A (Phase A)
- White – B (Phase B)
- Purple – A’ (Phase A inverted)
- Purple and Black – B’ (Phase B inverted)
✅ Shaft Selector Switch:
- Yellow – X (Axis selection X)
- Yellow and Black – X’ (Axis selection X inverted)
- Brown – Y (Axis selection Y)
- Brown and Black – Y’ (Axis selection Y inverted)
- Pink – Z (Axis selection Z)
- Pink and Black – Z’ (Axis selection Z inverted)
✅ Multiplier Switch:
- Gray – X1 (Multiplier X1)
- Gray and Black – X10 (Multiplier X10)
- Orange – X100 (Multiplier X100)
✅ Emergency Stop Switch (STOP):
- Blue – C (Contact C)
- Blue and Black – NC (Normally Closed Contact)
✅ Working Light:
- Green and Black – LED+ (Indicator positive voltage)
- White and Black – LED- (Indicator negative voltage)
✅ Common Terminal:
- Orange and Black – COM (Switch input common point)
Note: The bare copper wire end must be cut and individually insulated. Do not allow contact with other wires, components, or the housing to prevent short-circuiting.
- Please read this manual carefully before wiring to prevent disruption to handwheel operation.
- Encoder positive and negative lines must not be connected directly. High voltage can cause damage. Standard operation is typically 5V. For systems like Mitsubishi (12V) or PLC (24V), confirm voltage compatibility.
- The COM terminal is the common point for the handwheel switches. Ensure it is correctly connected for proper switch functionality.
- Handle handwheels with care to avoid damage from impact. Avoid excessive force on dials and switches, as this may affect their service life.
- When A- and B- signals are not available, DC 5-24V is supplied to the handwheel indicator.
- Compatibility Note: This handwheel may not directly support systems without A- and B- signals, such as some Mitsubishi or PLC configurations.

Instructions: Connect the Pulse Generator red line to the recognized voltage during procurement.
- For example: Connect to 12V for Mitsubishi systems.
- Connect to 24V for PLC systems.
- Not applicable when A-B signals are absent.
