Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block
Model Series: HGH/HGW
- For use with linear rails.
- HGH denotes a square block linear rail, while HGW is a wide (flanged) block type.
- Linear blocks are designed for linear rails (Linear Rail) in various industrial applications, including CNC machinery. They function as load-bearing components on the linear rail.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, featuring internal bearings for locomotion.
- Capable of reciprocating movement along the rail, ensuring smooth and rapid transit.
- The HGH series features a square profile block, while the HGW series offers a wider, flanged block profile.
Features: Linear Block (HGH and HGW Series)
- High precision, smoothness, excellent wear resistance, and low noise operation.
- Advanced manufacturing technology ensures precise products with high hardness and durability.
- High bearing capacity with low friction.
- Widely applicable in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive woodworking machinery, printing machinery, and more.

Installation: Correct Installation Procedure for Linear Blocks

- Place the slider parallel to the guide rail.
- Gently push the slider onto the guide rail.
- Slide the slider fully onto the guide rail.
- Installation is complete; ensure no steel balls are dislodged.

During installation, do not remove the plastic dummy rails from the slider in advance, as this can lead to the premature release of steel balls and prevent proper assembly and operation. When disassembling, use the dummy rails to facilitate removal and prevent ball loss.
Installation Tip:
If not using dummy rails, the sharp edges of the guide rail (made of No. 55 steel) can easily eject the balls from the ball groove.

Linear blocks of type HGW and HGH differ in several aspects concerning their application and characteristics:
Structure and Design
HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide)
- Wide Structure: Designed with wider rails and blocks, enhancing stability and load distribution.
- Load Capacity: Engineered for heavy-duty applications, offering a higher load capacity compared to SBR (Support Rail Guide) linear blocks.
HGH (High-precision Linear Guide)
- Standard Structure: Features a rectangular profile with internal ball or roller bearings.
- High Precision: Provides superior accuracy in motion, suitable for applications demanding high precision.
Load Capacity and Stability
- HGW: Offers superior load-bearing capacity compared to HGH, ideal for applications requiring heavy loads and optimal weight distribution. The wider rail profile enhances motion stability and reduces vibration and deflection.
- HGH: Provides good load capacity, though less than HGW, prioritizing motion accuracy. Suitable for applications demanding high precision with moderate loads.
Applications
- HGW: Recommended for applications requiring high load capacity and stability, such as heavy industrial machinery, large CNC machines, and robust equipment.
- HGH: Suitable for applications demanding high precision and smooth motion, including CNC machines, 3D printers, and precision manufacturing equipment.
Summary:
- HGW: Best suited for applications requiring heavy load capacity and high stability.
- HGH: Optimal for applications demanding high precision and smooth motion.
The selection depends on specific application requirements. For enhanced stability and load-bearing capabilities, HGW is the preferred choice, while HGH is more appropriate for applications prioritizing precision.
