Bellow Covers are utilized to protect Ballscrews and Linear Guideways from dust and impact, while also reducing drag force during movement. This extends machinery lifespan and minimizes downtime.

1. Bellow End Frame

Figure 1: L-shaped rigid plastic/polymer frame designed for securing Bellow ends, facilitating easy mounting to machinery or other structures.
Features grooves/notches for locking or assembling with the Bellow folds and other fastening components.

2. Folded Bellow Cover

Figures 2-3: The primary component of the Bellow, featuring an accordion-style fold to allow for extension and retraction along the linear axis’s movement.
Constructed from materials resistant to water, oil, and abrasion, such as PVC Fabric, Polyurethane Coated Nylon, or other composite materials.
Used to enclose or cover Ballscrews or Linear Guideways for:
- Protection against dust, metal chips, oil, etc.
- Protection against external impacts.
- Assisting in reducing drag force during axis movement.

Application Method

The ends of the Bellow are secured to the End Frames on both sides.
Subsequently, the assembly is mounted to the frame of the CNC machine or automation system.
The folds allow the Bellow to extend with the machine’s linear axis and retract without self-overlapping or obstructing operation.
