Bellow Covers (Dust Boots) are utilized to protect Ballscrews and Linear Guideways from dust and impact, while also reducing drag force during movement. This extends machine lifespan and minimizes downtime.

1. End Frame for Bellow

Figure 1: L-shaped rigid plastic/polymer frame designed for securing the ends of the Bellow, facilitating easy installation onto the machine or other structures.

Features grooves/notches for locking or assembling with the Bellow folds and other mounting hardware.
2. Folded Bellow Cover

Figures 2-3: The primary Bellow component, featuring an accordion-style fold to accommodate telescopic movement along the linear axis.

Constructed from materials resistant to water, oil, and abrasion, such as PVC Fabric, Polyurethane Coated Nylon, or composite materials.

Used to cover Ballscrews or Linear Guideways for:

Protection against dust, metal debris, oil, etc.

Installation and Operation

The ends of the Bellow are secured to the End Frames on both sides.

The assembly is then mounted onto the frame of the CNC machine or automation system.

The folded design allows the Bellow to extend with the machine’s moving axis and retract without self-overlapping or obstructing operation.
