Operating Principle
The EE-SX676PWR sensor internally houses an infrared light emitter and receiver within the slot. When no object is present, the light beam reaches the receiver, and the output state is determined by the selected mode (OFF or ON). When an object obstructs the light beam, the sensor instantaneously changes its output state, signaling the control system of the object’s passage.
Applications

- Detects workpiece passage on conveyor belts.
