Description
Linear Rail model HGR – Sliding Guide Rail
HGR 45 – 4 Meter

- Sliding guide rails are machine tool components characterized by a long rail profile.
- They feature a rectangular block that serves as the load-bearing element, accommodating types such as HGH, HGW, and SBR.
- Linear slide rails are available in various sizes and lengths to suit specific application requirements.
- They offer high strength, durability, and ease of installation.
- Linear slide rails can be applied in diverse fields including photocopiers, CNC machinery, automotive manufacturing, and the textile industry, among others.

Features: Linear Rail (HG Series)
1. Easy Lubrication
With traditional sliding systems, insufficient lubrication leads to wear on contact surfaces. Supplying adequate lubrication can be challenging due to difficulties in identifying appropriate lubrication points. Linear motion guideways, however, facilitate easy grease supply through dedicated grease nipples on the linear guideway blocks. Centralized oil lubrication systems can also be implemented by directing lubricating oil to the piping joints.

2. Easy Installation
Installing a linear guideway is straightforward. Achieving high-accuracy linear motion is possible by grinding or milling the machine surface according to recommended procedures and tightening bolts to the specified torque.

1. Place the slider parallel to the guide rail
2. Gently push the slider into the guide rail
3. The slider slides into the guide rail
4. The installation is complete, without losing the steel balls

When installing, do not remove the plastic retaining rails from the slider in advance, as this can cause the steel balls within the slider to dislodge during assembly, preventing normal installation and use. During disassembly, use the retaining rail to guide the process and prevent ball loss.
3. High Speed Motion with Low Driving Force
Due to minimal friction resistance in linear guideways, only a small driving force is required to move loads. This leads to increased power efficiency, particularly in the moving components of a system and especially for reciprocating elements.

4. Long Service Life with High Motion Accuracy
Traditional slides experience accuracy degradation due to oil film reversal. Insufficient lubrication causes wear between contact surfaces, leading to increasing inaccuracy over time. In contrast, rolling contact exhibits minimal wear, enabling machines to achieve extended service life with highly accurate motion.

5. High Positional Accuracy
When a load is driven by a linear motion guideway, the contact between the load and the base is rolling contact. The coefficient of friction is approximately 1/50th that of traditional contact, with minimal difference between static and dynamic coefficients. This ensures no slippage occurs during load movement.
6. Equal Load Capacity in All Directions
This specialized design allows these linear guideways to accept loads in both vertical and horizontal directions. Conventional linear slides can only handle limited loads in directions parallel to the contact surface and are prone to inaccuracy when subjected to such loads.
