Description
Linear Block, Sliding Block HGH12CA
Linear Block , Sliding Block
- Linear blocks are utilized with linear rails in various industrial sectors, including CNC machinery. They serve as load-bearing components on the linear guide system.
- Constructed from steel or aluminum, these blocks incorporate internal ball bearings for operational movement.
- They facilitate smooth, rapid, and bidirectional linear motion along the guide rail.
- The HGH series features a square profile block, while the HGW series is a wide profile block (flanged).
Features: Linear Block HGH and HGW Series
- High precision, smoothness, high wear resistance, and low noise operation.
- Advanced manufacturing technology ensures precise products with high hardness and durability.
- High load-bearing capacity with low friction.
- Widely applicable in CNC machine tools, machining centers, electronics, automation machinery, textile machinery, automotive woodworking machinery, and printing machinery, among others.
- Possesses high precision, smooth operation, superior wear resistance, and minimal noise.

Linear Rail

Installation Procedure for Linear Blocks

1. Place the slider parallel to the guide rail.
2. Gently push the slider onto the guide rail.
3. The slider engages with the guide rail.
4. Installation is complete; ensure steel balls remain contained.

During installation, do not remove the plastic dummy rails from the slider beforehand. Failure to do so may cause the internal steel balls to dislodge, rendering the block unusable. When disassembling, use the dummy rails to assist in removal and prevent ball loss.
Installation Tips:
If not using dummy rails, the sharp edges of guide rails made of #55 steel can easily eject the balls from their grooves.

Differences between HGW and HGH/SBR Linear Blocks:
Structure and Design
HGW (Heavy Load Wide Linear Guide)
- Wider Profile: Features a broader rail and block design, enhancing stability and load distribution.
- Heavy Load Capacity: Engineered for heavy-duty applications, offering superior load-bearing capabilities compared to SBR blocks.
HGH (High-precision Linear Guide)
- Standard Profile: Characterized by a square rail with integrated ball or roller elements.
- High Precision: Delivers exceptional movement accuracy, suitable for applications demanding high fidelity.
Load Capacity and Stability
- HGW: Superior load capacity and stability due to its wider design. Ideal for heavy loads and applications requiring reduced vibration and deflection.
- HGH: Offers good load capacity with a primary focus on movement precision. Best suited for applications requiring high accuracy without extreme load requirements.
Application Scenarios
- HGW: Recommended for heavy-duty applications demanding high stability, such as industrial machinery, large CNC machines, and robust equipment.
- HGH: Suitable for precision-oriented applications requiring smooth motion, including CNC machines, 3D printers, and fine-tolerance manufacturing equipment.
Summary
- HGW: Optimized for heavy loads and maximum stability.
- HGH: Optimized for high precision and smooth motion.
The selection depends on specific application needs. HGW is preferred for high load and stability requirements, while HGH is the choice for precision and smooth operation.
