Description

EE-SX674PWR NPN Fork Type Photo Interrupter Sensor
The EE-SX674PWR sensor is a Photo Interrupter type object detection sensor that utilizes Infrared Light for detecting object movement. It integrates both the Emitter and Receiver within a single unit. When the light beam is interrupted by an object, the sensor rapidly and accurately outputs a signal.
The sensor is designed in a Fork Type configuration, facilitating easy installation without the need for precise alignment between the emitter and receiver. This simplifies installation and enhances detection stability. It is suitable for applications in automated systems such as workpiece counters, packaging machines, conveyor systems, filling machines, and general industrial machinery.

Operating Principle
The sensor emits an infrared beam from the Emitter towards the Receiver, positioned opposite each other within the sensing slot. When no object is present, the light beam travels unobstructed, and the sensor does not output a signal. However, when an object enters and interrupts the beam, the sensor detects the change and outputs an NPN Open Collector signal, enabling the control system to process or command further actions immediately.

- Workpiece Counting Systems
- Conveyor Belt Sorting Systems
- Packaging Machines
- Labeling Machines
- Object Position or Edge Detection
- Automation Systems and Industrial Machinery
