Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Bottom Sealing by Blowing
A : Carton thickness exceeds 5 layers, and creases should be deep.
B : Creases. The blade length from 5 layers upwards. One side of the box crease should be thicker than the blade’s.
Side A (Front of Carton)
A : Side A refers to the front face of the carton.
B : The printing direction of Side A defines the details and bottom of the carton.
C : A represents the front of the carton, indicating details such as the carton’s orientation.
D : The machine features a simple configuration (left or right operation).
E : Materials should not be too soft and possess a smooth surface, particularly for high-speed carton erectors, which can serve as the primary example.
Material
A : Materials should not be too soft or have an uneven surface, as this can increase machine operational speed. If suitable products can be sourced, prioritize them.
B : Provide sample data training for materials exceeding 5 layers in thickness.
Cutting
A : Ideally, the carton corners for all materials should be cut diagonally, especially for cartons with more than 5 layers requiring rapid processing.
B : The purpose of diagonal cutting is to prevent non-standard formations and creased cartons, which can affect subsequent carton handling.
C : The position of the diagonal cut is illustrated in the figure. The diagonal cut is approximately 1/3 of the height of the front and back blades, corresponding to the carton’s thickness.
Blades
A : When the outer blades are reversed, both folded and flattened manually, the blades must not overlap. Ensure a gap of 1-2 mm.
B : During folding, the front and rear half blades cannot be matched.
C : The inner and outer blades have a slight square shape. The two outer blades produced will always be identical and require diagonal cutting for proper form.
Dimensions
A : For machine setup planning, specify all dimensional requirements (length, width, height) as reference data.
B : Rectangular cartons with a fixed height-to-length ratio that is not excessively large require special attention to variations.
C : For sample box erectors, if the box size is large, it will not be small; if it is small, it will not be large. It is not suitable to use the same mechanism to resolve boxes with significant dimensional differences.
