Bottom Flap Sealing by Air Blowing
A : The carton thickness should be more than 5 layers, and the crease must be deep.
B : For cartons with a shore level of 5 or more, the crease length of the blade should be one carton thickness deeper than the blade’s crease in the front chamber.
Side A (Carton Front)
A : Side A denotes the front face of the carton, intended for pickup by the suction cups of the carton erector.
B : The printing orientation of Side A dictates the placement and orientation of the carton’s contents and bottom.
C : Side A indicates the carton’s front, conveying essential information such as the carton’s orientation and handling instructions.
D : The machine features a straightforward operational model, configurable for left-hand or right-hand feed.
E : Materials should possess sufficient rigidity and a flat surface, particularly crucial for high-speed carton erecting machines, to ensure optimal performance.
Material Considerations
A : Materials that are too soft or have irregular surfaces can impede high-speed operation. It is recommended to utilize materials with appropriate rigidity and surface finish.
B : Training and sample information should be provided for materials exceeding 5 layers in thickness.
Incision (Flap Cutting)
A : As a general principle, the leading edges of the carton flaps across all material types should be cut at an angle. This is particularly important for cartons exceeding 5 layers and requiring high-speed processing.
B : The purpose of diagonal cutting is to prevent issues such as non-standard flap engagement and carton deformation, which can negatively impact subsequent packaging stages.
C : The diagonal cut position is illustrated in the figure. The diagonal cut is approximately 1/3 of the height of the front and rear flaps, roughly corresponding to the carton’s thickness.
Blade Specifications
A : When the outer blades are manually folded and flattened, they must not overlap. Ensure a gap of 1-2 mm is maintained between them.
B : When folded in half, the front and rear inner blades also must not overlap.
C : The inner and outer blades are designed with a slight square profile. The two outer blades are manufactured to be identical in size and require oblique cutting for proper shaping.
Size Requirements
A : For the planning and setup of the carton erector, please provide a comprehensive list of all applicable specifications (Length, Width, and Height) for reference.
B : For rectangular cartons, pay close attention to dimensions where the height is fixed and the length is not excessively large, especially concerning any variations.
C : Carton size adaptability: Ensure the machine can accommodate variations in carton size. If the carton is too large or too small, it may not be suitable for processing with the same mechanism. The machine is designed for cartons within a specified range of dimensional differences.
