Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Bottom Carton Sealing by Air Blow
A : The carton thickness is greater than 5 layers, and the crease should be deep.
B : For cartons with a crease length of 5 or more layers, the crease on one side of the carton should be thicker than the blade.
Side A (Front of Carton)
A : Side A refers to the front side of the carton, which is intended to be gripped by the suction cups of the carton erector.
B : The printing direction of Side A defines the items and the bottom of the carton.
C : Side A indicates the front of the carton, displaying details such as carton orientation.
D : The machine features a simple operational model (selectable for left or right operation).
E : The material should not be excessively soft, and the surface should be flat, especially for high-speed carton erectors, which can be best exemplified by these conditions.
Material
A : Materials that are not too soft and have an unorganized surface can lead to faster machine operation. If you can supply such products, providing them would be optimal.
B : Provide sample information training for materials exceeding 5 layers in thickness.
Scoring / Cutting
A : In principle, the corners of cartons made from all materials should be scored obliquely, especially for cartons exceeding 5 layers or those requiring faster processing speeds.
B : The purpose of diagonal scoring is to prevent non-standard creasing and deformation of the carton, which could affect subsequent operations.
C : The position of the diagonal score, as illustrated in the figure, is approximately 1/3 of the height of the front and rear blades, relative to the carton’s thickness.
Blade
A : When the two outer blades are manually folded and flattened, they must not overlap. Ensure a gap of 1-2 mm is maintained.
B : When folded in half, the front and rear inner blades cannot overlap.
C : The front and rear inner blades are slightly square. The two outer blades produced are always identical in size and must be cut obliquely to achieve the correct shape.
Size
A : For unpacking machine planning, it is recommended to provide a list of all specifications (length, width, height) as a reference.
B : For square cartons, pay particular attention to changes in dimensions where the ratio of length to fixed height is not excessively large.
C : The erector mechanism is designed to handle cartons within a specific size range. It is not suitable for mechanisms that attempt to resolve issues with cartons exhibiting excessively large or small variations simultaneously.
