In food processing plants, whether handling fresh or finished products, plastic trays are essential for holding or packaging raw materials like meat, vegetables, fruits, and ingredients for preparation. Large quantities of trays are used to accommodate products during the production process. These trays must be cleaned and sanitized to remove contaminants from the production line before reuse. Therefore, efficient and effective tray washing is crucial to ensure trays are properly cleaned, effectively sterilized, free from food debris or bacteria, and without chemical residue.
The Tray Washer (Ixay Washer) is a convenient cleaning solution designed for various types of plastic trays, baskets, and industrial containers. It employs an efficient washing process to remove residual food particles that can harbor pathogens. The high-speed cleaning capability of 200-1000 trays per hour allows for rapid reuse of trays. The machine is easy to control and operate, requiring only 2 personnel compared to the 10-20 individuals typically needed for manual tray washing.
The tray washing process begins with a pre-washing stage to remove adhering dirt such as soil, vegetable/fruit fragments, or food debris using an air knife positioned at an optimal angle for the trays. Subsequently, the trays undergo high-pressure cleaning with hot water (approximately 85°C) to eliminate bacteria that may accumulate in crevices. Finally, the trays are air-dried, leaving them clean and ready for safe reuse.
